My mother-in-law and I have been talking lately of making a family cookbook, so many recipes seem to disappear when the older generation stops cooking. It will be interesting to see the recipes that I get and I am debating whether to try them out before putting them in the cookbook. I am a bit afraid of some of them honestly. Hubby’s family comes from the Appalachian region and I have heard stories of some of the things that they make. It is similar to some of the things that my great-grandma would make. I love her but I would never eat pigs feet, I’m sorry I just can’t do it.
I am also thinking that when I finish with that cookbook I will start on one from my side of the family that or I might just make one of my own.
