Wednesday Night Dinner

This week has been crazy with a capital C to say the least. Hubby is working late, so it doesn’t always inspire me to cook. The weather has finally turned more of autumn most of the leaves on our black walnut trees are gone and it is cold in the mornings, with warmer afternoons. Cooking in the fall means more roasts, soups, stews, and other hearty dishes that will warm your soul.

For tonight I am planning homemade bean and bacon soup and homemade bread. I have never made bean and bacon soup from scratch and it is one of Hubby’s favorites.
